The FishyBizness offers a variety of excursions that surely will exceed your boating and fishing expectations. Choose from an offshore, coastal, backwater, sightseeing/shelling, or a specialty trip, and whether you are an experienced angler looking for specific fish or just looking to have a great time on the water, the FishyBizness will make sure that you have an enjoyable experience.
Specialty Trips
This trip requires advance booking and is only offered during the summer months when the weather is more predictable. We offer extended and multi-day trips to fish the waters around the Dry Tortugas and the Florida Keys.
Extended Offshore Trip
This type of trip is for the fisherman that wants to maximize their time on the water, pursuing specific species’ such as American Red Snapper which requires us to travel farther distances to reach deeper waters where you can also encounter Black Grouper, Scamp, Mutton Snapper, Permit, and Cobia. On this trip, you’ll have the opportunity to fish deeper waters where there is less fishing pressure. The variety improves with the occasional schools of Mahi-Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, and Wahoo. Larger Grouper roam these waters and the diversity of Snapper is more abundant.
8-Hour Trip/Full Day
This trip will run out up to forty miles or so, in search of the species of your choice or the featured species for that time of year. You’ll fish various towers, wrecks, reefs, and ledges. The catch is more abundant and the variety is greater. Permit, Amberjack, Cobia, Barracuda, and Kingfish that will make your reel scream are out there and that’s only on the surface. Down at the bottom, you’ll find Porgies, Lane Snapper, Mangrove Snappers, Yellowtail Snappers, and Groupers of all variety that will bend your rod double and provide great eating.
6-Hour Trip / 3/4 Day
This trip allows us to go a further than our half day trip, which provides a better opportunity to catch keeper Grouper and great eating Snapper.
4-Hour Trips / Half Day
Our half-day trip gives you a chance to fish for a different variety of species of fish such as Grouper, Snapper, Kingfish, Barracuda, Cobia, sharks, etc. Out in the Gulf, you never know what might get hooked on your line. The catch is plentiful with many fish roaming around in these waters and some larger fish hanging around.
Backwater & Coastal
A backwater or Coastal trip lets you fish in calm waters of the 10,000 Islands, canals or the passes for a variety of fish such as Snook, Trout, Redfish, Tarpon and many other fish that reside in the area. These trips are available in full day, 3/4 day and half day.
Sightseeing & Shelling
Our Sightseeing trip offers you the opportunity to enjoy your day on the water cruising the waterfront where you might encounter dolphin playing in our wake, manatee and lots of bird life including the majestic bald eagle which like to perch on the tallest trees. Here you can cruise and look at multi-million dollar homes, take a ride to a waterside restaurant for lunch and drinks, stop at one of our beautiful beaches for shelling where you can walk along the beach to collect shells, or experience our beautiful sunsets on the horizon. You can do any or all of the above.
